Ashly joined the Nayar & McIntyre LLP team two years ago. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a legal assistant at a non-profit, Hope Services Center, and prior to that was a customer service representative for USCIS. In addition to overseeing the day to day management of the firm, Ashly assists the attorneys with a wide range of complex immigration cases, including deportation defense, family immigration petitions, consular processing, waivers of inadmissibility, and naturalization applications. Her passion for immigration law continues to grow as she works alongside families to help them remain united.
Karina graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government, with a minor in English, from the University of Texas at Austin. As an undergraduate student Karina was heavily involved in community and civic engagement. Her involvement in organizations like LULAC, Lambda Theta Alpha, and the Latino Leadership Council sparked her interest in immigration law. At Nayar & McIntyre, Karina assists on an array of cases including adjustment of status, deferred action, consular process, waivers, and fiancé visas. In the future, Karina plans to attend law school so that she can continue to advocate for the rights of immigrants and their families.
Emilye graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University. Before completing her degree, she spent a year and a half serving and teaching English to the Hispanic community in and around Louisville, Kentucky. During that time, she interacted with many people in different stages of the immigration process and became intrigued by immigration law. She worked in an immigration law office for a year and a half assisting with adjustment of status, waiver and deferred action cases before moving to Texas and joining the Nayar & McIntyre team. Her dedication to providing caring and quality assistance grows everyday as she meets more immigrants and their families.
Karla is currently pursuing her Associate’s Degree at North Lake College, and expects to graduate in Spring 2018. She will then pursue her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and ultimately hopes to attend law school. Her passion for immigration law comes from watching her family navigate the complex immigration process. She enjoys meeting new people and hearing their stories. She is passionate about helping people and providing them with the best service.
